18 Aug Sending emails via SMTP using Office365
Some customers want to embed their emails hosted via Office365 into their own web applications, CRM systems or bespoke code.
This method is best, as all emails are sent from you or your company, meaning each person receiving the email knows or thinks it is you.
To set up your system to send via SMTP, enter these details to get setup:
- Username = Your email address such as [email protected]
- Password = Your email password
- Server = smtp.office365.com
- Port = 587
- Security Type = TLS
Once complete, try triggering a test email from the system to check if it correctly issues the email and secondly comes from your email address.
