How do I set up my email on Apple devices (such as iPhone, iPad)?

Welcome, you will need to follow these simple steps to get your email setup.

STEP 1

Unlock your iPhone and go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.

STEP 2

A list of providers appears, click the Other option.

STEP 3

Tap the Add Mail Account option.

STEP 4

Now, fill out all the fields here as follows:

Your Name = Enter your name (such as FirstName LastName)
(be sure to make sure the capitalisation is correct as this is what customers will see)

Email = *****CONTACTUS*****

Password = [Please check your email for the password]

Description = This shows on your iPhone as a memorable name for the account (an example would be *****CONTACTUS*****) This is not seen by customers.

Click the Next button.

STEP 5

Now, fill out the fields under Incoming Mail Server here as follows:

Host Name = *****CONTACTUS*****

Username = *****CONTACTUS*****

Password = [Please check your email for the password]

Repeat the same settings again under the Outgoing Mail Server.

Click the Next button.

STEP 6

Your device will now try and verify the settings. Give it a moment or two to perform this – ensure you have Wifi or phone signal at this point.

STEP 7

Click the Save button and your account will be added.

STEP 8

Now, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.

Choose the newly created account and tap on it.

Under IMAP, choose the newly created account and tap on it again and the settings page will appear.

STEP 9

Click on Advanced.

STEP 10

Turn Use SSL to ON.

Under Server Port, change the value to 993.

Click the < Account button at the top left and it will return you back to the previous menu.

STEP 11

Click on SMTP.

STEP 12

Turn Use SSL to ON.

Under Server Port, change the value to 587.

Click the Done button at the top right and it will now verify the settings once again.

STEP 13

Exit all the menu now to the home screen.

STEP 14 (Final Step)

Your Apple device will now sync your mailbox. Depending on how big your email inbox is, this will take some time and you will see folders & emails slowly start appearing.

All done now – You can now send & receive emails on *****CONTACTUS*****.
